It’s almost Fall here! The Fall Equinox begins on September 23, 2019. Are you ready Carolinas?
The Carolinas are one of the most beautiful places to experience fall weather. The air is crips, the leaves are changing colors, and football is always on. How could you get anything better? Well when you live here, it can get better. The Carolinas are notorious for family friendly activities and things-to-do during fall. From pumpkin patches to trick-or-treating, or even festivals at local breweries; we got it all here!
It’s not too late to catch the last day of The Cabarrus County Fair. This runs until tomorrow evening at 11 pm. Parking and children 5 and under are free, ages 6-11 are $5, and Ages 12+ are $8. There are also military ID and senior discounts. For more information on the complete schedule tomorrow, click here.
Another even to check out in the Charlotte-metro area is the Sycamore Brewing Pumpkin Fest! This runs tomorrow, September 14, from 12 pm to 11 pm at 2161 Hawkins Street in Charlotte. The event features live music on multiple stages, seasonal beers, food trucks, and more!
Thinking about trying the corn mazes this year? You’re in luck. The Carolinas have plenty! Ken’s Korny Corn Maze in Garner is the state’s first and longest running corn maze. Also consider the Clayton Fear Farm in Clayton, the Cold Mountain Corn Maze in Canton, the Regal Corn Maze in Statesville, or even the Country Days Corn Maze in Charlotte. Whatever kind you’re looking for this fall, the Carolinas have it all!
For a more frightful kick off to the season, SCarowinds begins tonight September 13 and runs until October 27. This is “The Carolinas Premier Halloween Event”! If you’re looking for a theme park turned scream park, this is the event for you. More information on tickets, parking, and event schedules can be found here.
At the top of our must-do list is watching the leaves change in Blowing Rock, North Carolina. Nothing can beat the view there in the early fall. Once the season gets going, consider going to Asheville to see the season change there as well.
Whatever it is you plan to do this autumn, your friends here at High Rock Insurance wish you nothing but good health and safety.
